see it out here to the west of us. now that system is fairly significant, as it moves in it's going to bring increasing clouds and showers to the bay area by friday. here's how it breaks out. that system is strengthen as we speak. but it's a couple of days away. so slightly warmer tomorrow. extended forecast, the showers come in. so what's tomorrow? wednesday, thursday, nice. so next couple of days slightly warm days. low 80s. friday increasing clouds, maybe some sprinkles friday night. then we put rain in the forecast early friday into saturday. the forecast high is tomorrow. that's down the road. the reason i say it like that because again we're a few days out still. the timing is going to change. it looks pretty certain that someone in the bay area is going to see some showers. mainly north bay, but i think showers could reach as high south as san jose as we go into the friday, saturday overnight. so there's the system i'm tracking. i'll keep a close eye on it. i'll be back here in just a bit with your five day fore

that's certainly something we've used in the, uk. i know it's been used here is a well. this is taking an incremental approach. not starting with the solution today to address all the problems but what can we do now to take it in the right direction in the next 20 years so we won't have to stand up in 20 years and say we should not have done that or even worse, i wish we'd done something 20 years back. i believe peter said, maybe some of us think if we acted in 1997 some of the problems might not be so challenging in 07'. an incremental no regrets approach might be something to think about as a strategy for going forward. we talked about from the third perspective, stake holder perspective and it takes time to bring them to the table. it's different techniques that it takes to reconcile differences and manager conflict and move forward. we do have to find the time in the planning process to bring those different agencies closer and that needs to be structured in our processes. we need that time and investment needed to do that - needs to be in place and i was delighted t

all the recreational areas are heavily used on weekends. we have the group picnic area which should accommodate 200 people, tennis courts are full. it also has 3 playground areas. the ampitheater was built in 1972. it was the home of the first blues festival. given the fact that jerry garcia used to play in this park, he was from this neighborhood, everybody knows his reputation. we thought what a great thing it would be to have an ampitheater named after jerry garcia. that is a name that has panache. it brings people from all over the bay area to the ampitheater. the calls that come in, we'd like to do a concert at the jerry garcia ampitheater and we do everything we can to accommodate them and help them because it gets people into the park. people like a lot of color and that's what they call a park. other people don't. you have to try to reconcile all those different points of view. what should a park look like and what should it have? should it be manicured, should it be nice little cobblestones around all of the paths and like that. th
